Skills/Qualifications

The Role: 

Redgate is looking for an Events Coordinator, who’s enthusiastic about supporting the team with multiple events, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You’ll work with the Events team to successfully deliver our events program for both sponsored third party and hosted events.

 

Reporting into the Events Marketing Manager, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end execution of our events program. You’ll also be travelling to some of our events, to lead the booth crew onsite.

 

We operate from a flexible hybrid model, that supports a healthy work-life balance. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live close to our Austin, TX office, and two days per week in office is required.

  

 

Your Work at Redgate Software: 

  • Take responsibility for the coordination of Redgate’s hosted and sponsored events.  
  • Coordinate marketing for the events program; including setting and scheduling pre and post event emails as necessary using Marketo. 
  • Brief and lead crews at events, ensuring that attendees are engaged with as per Redgate’s event experience standards, and the crew are motivated to achieve the event KPIs. 
  • Support the research, negotiation and booking of venues for Redgate hosted events/lunches/dinners. 
  • Coordinate event agendas for hosted events to ensure that the topics and speakers are right for the attendees we are looking to attract. 
  • Liaise with the brand team members approving event displays, print collateral, ad / social graphics, swag artwork, web page content, etc. 
  • Create event fact sheets and fully brief the crew ahead of the events. 
  • Oversee various inboxes and calendars and reply to internal and external emails in a friendly manner.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and external event organizers. 
  • Collaborate with Events Marketing Manager regarding setting event objectives and KPIs. 
  • Pre- and post-event attendee administration using event management software, including Excel, Marketo, SalesForce and Microsoft Planner. 
  • Hold retrospective meetings, complete event reports to demonstrate event value/success and report against KPIs. 
  • Work closely with and support other members of the team to ensure the successful delivery of events from start to finish.
 

 

What You Bring to the Table:  

  • Two plus years of experience in coordinating B2B hosted and sponsored events
  • Experience in coordinating international events and conferences calendar as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Showcase detailed pre- and post-event attendee administration using event management software, including Excel, Marketo, and SalesForce
  • Be a proactive team player with good social skills who can build networks internally and externally.
  • A problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects concurrently with the ability to react rapidly to situations, prioritize your workload and implement measures to improve procedures and workflow.
  • Able to get up to speed quickly to take ownership of the coordination of multiple concurrent national and international events. 
  • Demonstrable experience of post event reporting. 

 

What would help:

  • Experience of coordination of B2B events within the Tech industry
  • Willing to work flexible hours as needed to deliver the needs of events based in time-zones outside of Austin, TX.
  • Ability to travel nationally within the US to events with the possibility of international travel
  • Experience using Salesforce, WordPress and Marketo would be an advantage
  • Experience in marketing communications and digital marketing (email and social media) would be an advantage

 

Salary: 

  • Base: $65,000 - $85,000
