What will you be doing?

 

You will be responsible for driving and delivering the go-to-market strategy for a strategic solution pillar within Redgate’s portfolio of solutions. You will partner with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams to drive and execute effective campaign strategies that power increased solutions adoption and business growth. You will use your understanding of our target markets and buyer groups to shape the go-to-market activity, land and position new solutions and capabilities with Redgate’s sales and GTM enablement teams, and be a source of insight for Product Management teams to directly influence the future roadmaps and direction of our solutions.  

Your Work at Redgate Software:  

  • You will conduct market research and competitive analysis for your solution area, drawing on customer feedback/insights, industry data, online analytics, pipeline dynamics, and other relevant sources.  
  • This will enable you to share knowledge across the organization, including (but not limited to): Market dynamics, Ideal customer profiles (ICP), key buyer personas and different customer buying behaviours, and competitor landscapes.  
  • You will work cross-functionally and apply your market and customer insights to develop and deliver clear and concise messaging frameworks that communicate the unique value of our solutions, the customer pain-points they address, and the unique competitive differentiators.  
  • You will craft updated product positioning and messaging frameworks that help our Sales and GTM teams clearly understand the positioning of different solutions within our portfolio.  
  • You will produce comprehensive sales enablement materials, including sales narratives, training, collateral, and briefings.  
  • You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders in Sales, Product and Marketing to define go-to-market direction that will result in effective campaign strategies. Your go-to-market direction will cover areas such as high-level marketing objectives, lead and lag measures to predict and measure success, target audiences & buyer personas, and campaign thematics.   
  • You will work with the Product Marketing team and other stakeholders across Marketing, Product and Sales teams to lead on the delivery of strategically important product and feature launches for your solution area.   
  • You will contribute to Redgate’s product and marketing strategy and influence critical portfolio decisions through your insights into the wider market, competitor landscape, target buyer groups, ideal customer profiles and other relevant sources.   

 

What experience are we seeking? 

 

  • An experienced marketing professional with proven success in partnering with Sales, Marketing and Product on go-to-market initiatives, ideally as part of a B2B technology company or equivalent.   
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully with teams across the organisation to form ideas, solve problems and gain consensus.  
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively, ensuring alignment and fostering trust through clear and proactive communication.  
  • Self-starter with an organised approach to managing workload and projects.  
  • Strategic, commercial and analytical thinker, with a growing ability to articulate ideas and insights that inspire others to act.  
  • Competent in researching and drawing insight from online analytics, customer feedback, competitor profiles, pipeline dynamics, and other sources to successfully communicate knowledge across the organisation that will inform the go-to-market strategy and influence product direction.  
  • Proven experience in setting metrics as part of a go-to-market strategy, working closely with stakeholders to agree, report on those metrics and define next steps to further optimise activity.  
  • Proven ability in taking a creative and methodical approach to marketing challenges, focused on continuous improvement and open to changing direction where required.

Direct experience using these tools would be beneficial but also open to related tools and we can provide training 

 

Salary  

  • The salary on offer for this role is $115,000 - $130,000
